Tackle AGM June 2017

17th June 2017

Last Tuesday the 13th June I (Bob Arthy) was privileged to attend with nearly a hundred others the AGM of Tackle which now represents 87 PSA Support Groups throughout the UK. The organisation of the AGM was superb, for instance we all received an Agenda which came with a detailed researched background to each item on the Agenda. Stand up Roger Wotton as we all salute your drive and enthusiasm not to mention your Chairmanship that is truly enervating this Nationwide Association of Prostate Cancer Support Groups.


After lunch Julian and Victoria gave the Conference a brilliant presentation on Prostate problems down below with Julian involving us all with his humour and knowledge before handing over to Victoria who had us all in the palm of her hands as we practised pelvic floor exercises having been treated to a fascinating outline of the working of our waterworks. They were both in their differing complementary ways absolutely Magnificent....


The of course Arthy had to get in on the act and having asked permission firstly from Roger, after giving the lyrics to Julian, we sang "Dr Dr don't delay in giving me a PSA" and I have to say it was the best rendition ever...
