From Nine till Noon guitars played, first Ian Senior and then his friends Bob and Bob sang whilst coffee flowed and a host of Christ Church Parishioners and some FOPS (the Friends of Prostate Sufferers) ate delicious cakes as the sipped their Americanos and chatted away one to another as they guessed the number of decorative spots on the Macmillan cake...
Later Dr Caroline, the world champion for the Triathlon, arrived and so did the lovely ladies from Sewell and Gardner.. twas then that the singing got really under way and so the donations flowed… Many Thanks to Debbie the Events Organiser and Erica and Nicky who ran the refectory and all those from Christchurch and the FOPS for we banked £210 on Friday afternoon which was more than double the average for groups of our size... So Well Done Everyone for you have helped to fund another Macmillan Nurse.
